There are weddings, and then there are weddings that are truly unforgettable – where every moment feels like a scene out of a love story, where every detail is drenched in meaning, and where two people from different corners of the world unite in the most intimate and beautiful way. Jing Jing and Brad’s wedding was nothing short of extraordinary. From their quiet preparations with close family and friends to an evening at one of London’s most iconic landmarks, their love story unfolded with an elegance and charm that made it impossible to forget.

The Morning: Quiet Moments Before Forever
Jing Jing began her day surrounded by those who mattered most – her Mum and friends, a group of women who shared not only her joy but also the excitement that bubbled in the air. The intimate, personal atmosphere of their home was the perfect start to a wedding day that would be anything but ordinary. Meanwhile, Brad prepped in a local hotel, taking a few quiet moments to himself before the whirlwind of the day truly began. The talented photographer, Liam Crawley, first visited Brad, capturing those precious moments of a groom preparing to marry the love of his life. Then, Liam made his way to Jing Jing’s side, where she sat in a delicate robe, the sound of brushes and laughter filling the air as her hair and makeup came to life. Jing Jing looked absolutely stunning – her beauty radiant in every glance and gesture, the excitement in her eyes betraying the calm and serene atmosphere around her.

The First Look: A Moment of Pure Joy
Once they were ready, the couple took separate taxis to a local park, a special spot where they would have their first look. The moment Brad saw Jing Jing for the first time, the joy on his face was uncontainable. His eyes lit up, and he was utterly taken with her, overwhelmed by the sight of the woman he was about to marry. It was a moment of pure emotion, the kind that only happens once in a lifetime.

A Journey of Love: The Registry Office
From the park, the couple travelled together to the Hounslow Registry Office, where 26 of their closest family members and friends were waiting. It was a small and intimate gathering—Jing Jing’s family had come all the way from China, and Brad’s from the USA, making this a truly global celebration of love. The ceremony itself was heartfelt, quiet, and deeply meaningful. The confetti pictures afterwards perfectly captured the joy that surrounded them.

A Tradition and a Surprise
After the ceremony, Brad and Jing Jing surprised their guests with a red London bus, the
perfect nod to the traditional charm of London. It wasn’t just a mode of transport—it was part
of their celebration, whisking everyone away to the National Gallery, where the evening
would unfold. There, Jing Jing changed into her traditional red Chinese dress, adding a
splash of cultural richness to the celebration. The guests were in awe as they made their
way to a wonderful local restaurant for a delicious meal, while behind the scenes, Caper and
Berry Catering worked to prepare the dining area, and Lavender Green’s stunning flowers
filled the space with vibrant life.

The National Gallery: A Surreal and Personal Experience
The National Gallery itself was a work of art, and to be walking around such incredible
pieces of history with no one else around felt like an honour. It was as though time slowed
down in those hallowed halls, the music playing softly in the background as the couple and
their guests enjoyed a private tour of some of the couple’s favourite rooms. It wasn’t just a
venue—it was a living, breathing part of their love story. Jing Jing’s love of art had led them
to this choice, and every piece of the gallery seemed to echo with meaning.
Although the front of the Gallery was covered in scaffolding for emergency work, the couple
was given a chance to make up for it in the most incredible way: a photoshoot on the
rooftop. The view of Trafalgar Square was breathtaking from above, and the fun the couple
had while climbing around on the roof made it all the more special. It was a moment of joy,
an unexpected gift on a day already filled with magic.

A Night to Remember
The dinner setting was nothing short of jaw-dropping. Jing Jing and Brad had chosen to sit in front of “The Adoration of the Shepherds” by Guido Reni, and behind them, “Whistlejacket” by George Stubbs stood tall, making for a dramatic backdrop that only added to the sense of awe that surrounded them. As the meal unfolded, heartfelt speeches filled the air, and the atmosphere was intimate and personal, every word carrying deep significance. One moment that will forever be etched in the memory of those who were present was when the Groom’s Uncle played a song on the ukulele, accompanied by his Aunt singing a meaningful melody that tugged at the heartstrings of everyone in the room.

A Private Photoshoot: The Art of Love
After dinner, the couple slipped away for a private photoshoot, making sure to capture all of the Bride’s favourite pieces of art. Among these were Van Gogh’s “Sunflowers” and Monet’s iconic “Water Lilies,” both of which provided stunning backdrops for the couple’s quiet moments of reflection and love. These images, captured in the stillness of the gallery, were as timeless as their love.

The Final Moments: A Quiet Farewell
As the evening came to a close, Jing Jing and Brad returned to their guests, who were enjoying drinks and mingling in the art-filled space. Soft background music played as the couple shared intimate moments with those closest to them, savouring the memories they had created together. Once everyone had departed, the team worked with Caper and Berry to close down the room, ensuring every detail was taken care of before they checked in with the National Gallery staff to make sure everything was perfect.
Jing Jing and Brad’s wedding was a celebration of love, culture, art, and family, a day that was as personal and unique as their story. It was an honour to be part of such a special occasion, witnessing their love for each other and their shared appreciation of art and beauty. It’s a day that will never be forgotten—not just for the incredible venue, the stunning art, or the beautiful details, but for the love that surrounded every moment.
