Date: 31st August 2024
Jasmine and Aron’s Hindu wedding day at the enchanting North Mymms Park was nothing short of extraordinary – an incredible celebration packed with laughter, love, and unforgettable moments. From the early hours of the morning to the final farewell, every detail was meticulously planned and executed, with non-stop excitement, multiple outfit changes, two ceremonies, and a jam-packed itinerary. This was a day that truly celebrated their love and the joy of bringing families together.

A Day Full of Wonder and Tradition
The day began bright and early at 3:30 AM as Jasmine began her hair and makeup preparations with the talented Sana Majeed. By 6:00 AM, we met with the wonderful Natasha Foods team who had already arrived at the Mansion to prepare a delicious breakfast for the 400 guests who would soon be arriving. Meanwhile, Aarya had arrived at the Pavilion to set up the Mandap, transforming the space into a picture-perfect setting for the Hindu ceremony.
Not long after, Nik Thakar Photography and Santosh Matthews of Rollei Films arrived to capture the moments leading up to the big day. With the scene set, we took the family’s decorations and gifts to the Priest for the Hindu Ceremony, who was preparing the sacred
space with his musician.
As the morning unfolded, we placed reserved seating signs for the family and bridal party, set up the guestbook and card box, and ensured everything was ready for the ceremony to begin.

The Grand Entrance: A Spectacle to Remember
At 7:00 AM, the Groom arrived at the venue, and photography and videography captured the intimate moments of both the bride and groom getting ready. One of the joys of North Mymms is its layout, which allows the couple to get ready in their own private wings on site,
allowing each of them to prepare in comfort and peace.
At 7:30 AM, around 200 excited guests began to arrive, making their way to the breakfast gathering. At the same time, we were busy working with the team from Ostler, who brought a majestic horse for the Groom’s Jaan/Baraat—a grand procession where the Groom makes his entrance with his family. The energy was electric, with drummers from Oh My Dhol creating an unforgettable beat that only increased the excitement.
As the Groom’s procession began, Jasmine’s family gathered outside the Mansion. The Groom mounted the horse dressed in his traditional Dhoti Kurta, and the joyous procession, complete with flares, began. A luxurious Rolls Royce followed, ensuring that even elderly
family members could partake in this incredible tradition. The Jaan was an explosion of color, music, and pure celebration—a perfect start to a wedding day.

Ceremony: Rituals and Traditions
The Milni, the coming together of the Bride and Groom’s families, was held outside the Mansion, beautifully symbolised by the exchange of garlands from Savitaben Mistry. Guests then made their way to the Pavilion, where the ceremony was about to begin.
Our team excitedly went to collect the Bride as it was almost time for her entrance – she looked truly spectacular and lit up the room, dressed in her stunning red lehenga.
The Hindu ceremony followed a series of sacred rituals, each one more meaningful than the
last:
● Ganesh Puja: A prayer to Lord Ganesh to remove obstacles.
● Kanya Aagman: The Bride was escorted to the Mandap by her Aunt and Uncle, with the Groom unable to see her until the moment the Priest signaled her arrival.
● Kanyadaan & Hasta Milap: The Bride’s Father symbolically gives away his daughter, transferring responsibility to the Groom. The couple’s hands are tied together, symbolising an unbreakable bond.
● Varmala: The exchange of floral garlands between the Bride and Groom, marking their union.
● Agni Puja & Mangal Phera: Offerings were made to the sacred fire, and the couple circled it four times to signify the four goals of life.
● Saptapadi: The seven vows were exchanged.
● Kansar Bhakshan: The couple shared a sweet offering of wheat, sugar, and butter, presented by the Bride’s mother.
● Mangalsutra, Sindoor, & Ring Exchange: Symbols of an eternal bond, with the Groom adorning the Bride with a Mangalsutra and applying Sindoor to her hair.
● Akhand Saubhagyavati: Married women whispered blessings to the Bride, wishing her a life of marital bliss.
The ceremony concluded with a playful game of Koda Kodi, where the couple searched for a hidden ring in a bowl of water, milk and petals. The guests headed back to the Mansion, where the fun continued with the Vidaai, a heartfelt moment when the Bride departs her family, signaling the start of her new life. As tradition dictates, the Bridesmaids created a blockade, ensuring the Groom paid up before the newlyweds could leave!

Transition to the Civil Ceremony and Reception
While guests then enjoyed a delicious lunch and mingled in the Mansion, Aarya and our team swiftly transformed the Pavilion from the Hindu Ceremony, into a venue for the upcoming evening Reception. Natasha Foods worked to rearrange and set the tables, while Ritzy Music prepared the DJ booth and ensured all audio-visual elements were ready. .
As the Pavilion change up was underway, the guests were welcomed to the Civil Ceremony, which was a beautiful, intimate affair, and after the vows were exchanged, the newlyweds joyously exited to the song Signed, Sealed, Delivered by Stevie Wonder. Guests greeted them with a shower of confetti, creating a colorful and joyful atmosphere as the couple made their way outside.
The Grand Reception: An Epic Party
After a brief break for an outfit change, the Bride returned in a stunning silver lehenga and the Groom in a glittering dinner jacket. The evening’s black-tie celebration began with a grand entrance, complete with Dhol drummers, sparkler fountains, and a lively procession
into the Pavilion.
Dinner was served in a fun, interactive way with sharing bowls on tables, sparking conversations and laughter. The evening continued with speeches, cake cutting, and a choreographed dance-off that had the guests on their feet in awe. The first dance, a romantic moment to Mera Jinna Sohna, was followed by heartfelt dances between the Bride and her father and the Groom and his mother. The party truly took off as the couple and their loved ones danced the night away, with Dhol drummers and DJ Ritzy keeping the energy high.
For those needing a break from the dance floor, the dessert station was a hit, and the fun didn’t stop there. The couple surprised everyone with personalized foam glow sticks and CO2 guns, creating a jaw-dropping spectacle that lit up the dance floor. The energy was so infectious that at midnight, even when the lights came on, the guests were reluctant to leave.

The Final Touches
As the night wound down, we ensured that all belongings were collected, suppliers’ equipment was packed up, and the venue was tidied. Jasmine and Aron enjoyed a quiet moment with their closest family and friends, reliving the magic of the day before retiring to the venue’s accommodation.
Despite the tight timings and challenges that come with a wedding of this scale, the entire day flowed seamlessly, leaving everyone—specially the Bride and Groom—feeling overwhelmed with joy. It was a day filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories that will be cherished forever.
It was an honor to be part of Jasmine and Aron’s spectacular celebration. Their wedding was a true testament to the power of love and tradition, and the joy that comes from bringing families together for a day that was nothing short of magical.
